Biographical SketchRobert Ellis received a B.S. and M.S. in Mathematics from Virginia Tech in 1994 and 1996, respectively, with Master's thesis on cubical complexes. His Master's thesis advisor was Clara Chan. His Ph.D. work in chip-firing games and spectral graph theory is under the direction of Fan Chung Graham, with expected graduation by June, 2002.
