Biographical Sketch

Ph.D. and M.Tech. in Computer Science from University of Calcutta, India. Assistant Professor in the MIS Group of Indian Institute of Management Calcutta since 1996. Currently visiting Prof. Andrew B Kahng's VLSI CAD Group at UCSD as a Project Scientist.

Research Interest

Algorithms for Computer-aided physical design of VLSI circuits, Artificial Intelligence, Application of Meta-heuristic Techniques to hard optimization problems.
