Biographical Sketch

Kambiz Samadi received his B.S. in Computer Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) from California State University, Fresno(CSUF) in May 2004. During the summer of 2003, he pursued research with the Wireless Communications Group at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) under supervision of Prof. Babak Hassibi, through an undergraduate summer research fellowship (SURF) program. He is also a recipient of the 2004 outstanding undergraduate honorable mention award by Computing Research Association (CRA). In Fall 2004 he joined the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) to pursue his Ph.D. under supervision of Prof. Andrew B. Kahng. He is currently affiliated with the VLSI CAD Lab - ABKGROUP.
